Now I'm not sure about you but I love a good old facemask, I am always buying and trying different ones to see if they make a difference to my skin but recently I have been liking trying different home made mask as I like the idea of using natural products on my face. I came across this facemask idea and thought I would give it a try and I am already starting to see a slight difference in my skin. When used two to three times a week, this facemask will gradually reduce acne scares, uneven skin tone, reduce pore size and help you to get that healthy looking glow.  And the best bit is it's made from simple ingredients, which you may find in your kitchen.

What you will need:
1/2 tsp. organic cinnamon

1/2 tsp. nutmeg

1 tsp. honey

2 tsp. fresh lemon juice

Step One:
Mix all the ingredients together until it forms a thick paste. If you have sensitive skin you can leave out or dilute the lemon.

Step Two:
Apply an even layer over the face and leave on for anywhere between 10-30 minutes so you get the full effect. You might experience a slight burning sensation but it should only burn for a couple of minutes and then it'll wear off, if it doesn't I would recommend washing it off.

Step Three:
Rinse of the mask with warm water and then moisturise to rehydrate your skin.

Note: Keep in mind that this is a mask that will work gradually so don't expect to see a huge difference overnight, but if you are consistent and use it twice a week you will start to see a huge improvement in you skin, it will lighten up any marks, blemishes and scares and will help to reduce fine lines and wrinkles.
