I get so excited about foundation so I’m so glad to finally say I got round to purchasing the Laura Mercier Smooth Finish Flawless Fluid and I’m so glad I did, its gorgeous! That’s both the packaging and the foundation. I have been wanting to purchase this foundation for quite some time now but I’m always put of my the £34.00 price tag, but one day I decided to bite the bullet and get it, and as soon as it arrived I couldn’t wait to try it.

This is  “long-wear, oil free foundation that magically blurs the line between real skin and makeup” It is rather a liquidly and you have to shake it to activate the formula, the more you shake it the thicker it get, I prefer it thicker as its easier to handle. I love how this foundation leaves my skin with beautiful smooth finish but with a lightweight finish as usually when I find a foundation that leaves my skin looking smooth, it feels heavy on my skin such as the Estee Lauder Double Wear but the Laura Mercier foundation makes my skin feel soft and look bright and luminous and another bonus is it doesn’t clog my pores.

If you love a full coverage then I wouldn’t recommend this foundation, as it is very shier and takes several layers to achieve a full coverage and I personally think this foundation is too nice and pricey to be applying loads of layers. The only negative comment I can say is that after a few hours of wear it seems to slide around so its certain that you will need to use a good primer especially if you have oily/combination skin. I use a primer everyday anyway but for people that don’t, may want to try one with the Laura Mercier foundation. Overall though I love this foundation it feels like a really luxurious product.
