Over the years I have tried several fake tans, St Tropez, St Moriz, Fake Bake just to name a few. However I stopped using fake tan because I discovered that is it was making my skin, especially my legs extremely itchy, to the point where I would make myself bleed. I tried so many tans to try and find one that I wouldn’t be allergic too but until now I have had no luck, but then I came across the Clarins Delicious Self Tan and I have not looked back.

The caramel coloured delicious self-tanning cream is completely different to any fake tan product I have used before. It has a really thick creamy texture, a bit like body butter. Is it strange that when I first opened it, it looked good enough to eat?

I like to use a glove when applying tan however I have applied this tan without a glove several times and it tan washes off your hands without a problem yet it dries so quickly without making you feel sticky which is one of the most important things to me. I've had zero problems with streaking and it fades so gradually that I have trouble figuring out whether the tan has actually faded or if I'm normally that colour.

I really love this fake tan, firstly because it’s the only one I have found that doesn’t make me itch but also because it’s so incredibly nourishing, which is probably down to the coca butter. It is quite a natural shade, so if you're looking for a dramatic 'wow' colour, then this probably isn't for you. However, its lovely, quick and easy to apply, has a gorgeous subtle but definite tint and genuinely smells delicious
