Aloe Vera Gel is the original hard working beauty product that so many of us have probably forgotten about and replaced with Coconut Oil, but you really should start to reconsider this beauty classic as it can be used for so many things. Aloe Vera Gel is fragrance and colorants free making it suitable for all skin types and conditions and is a
naturally cooling, moisturising gel that is cheap, easily found and the answer to many skin and beauty problems. Below I have shared my top 6 uses for Aloe Vera Gel.

1. Is A Gentle Cleanser
Aloe Vera Gel can be used as a gentle cleanser and should melt off most forms of make-up. Also as it has natural anti-septic qualities it will help to not only calm blemishes but also speed up the natural healing process too.

2. Great For Eyebrows
Before plucking your eyebrows, apply a thin layer of Aloe Vera gel and it will somewhat act as numbing agent making the whole process a little more comfortable it will also help keep redness at bay with its cooling properties.

3. Can Be Used As A Mask
Aloe Vera Gel is one of the original hydrating and brightening facial mask. You just need to apply a generous layer all over the face, allow to absorb for up to 10 minutes and then tissue off the excess. You can also use a similar method for the feet, again apply a layer all over the skin and then pop on socks before climbing into bed. Not only will your feet feel re-freshened but they will be softened too.

4. Is Soothing & Cooling
Aloe Vera contains natural soothing and cooling properties like menthol, which is why it is such a great remedy for helping to calm and take the sting out of sunburn, minor burns of any description as well as taking the itch out of most insects bites.

5. Can Be Used For Shaving
Do you find your skin is easily irritated by regular shaving foam or gel? well Aloe Vera Gel can be used instead. As an added bonus it will not only moisturise the skin but help to heal any shaving cuts.

6. Under Eye Bags
If you are prone to under eye bags and general eye puffiness, apply a little Aloe Vera Gel and you will notice that it will reduce any swelling, brighten the skin while cooling properties refresh the area.

I would love to know if you use Aloe Vera Gel and if you do what do you use it for? Is it something I have not mentioned above?
