Stress is certainly a weakness of mine, I like to get everything done as and when I think of it without giving myself any time and there is always so much I want to do so I end up stressing out about everything. Does anyone else find that when they start getting stressed everything else then stresses you out? Well here are my four tips for dealing with stress:

Workspace: Make sure your workplace is clean and simple. I don’t like it when there are bits and bobs everywhere; I just like to keep it simple. The same goes for my home too, I like too keep things minimal.

Relax: Do something that you enjoy, whether that’s taking a bath, exercising, reading, you just need to take sometime for yourself. Sometimes your endless to do list seems more important, but don’t let work take over your entire life.  

Write it down: To do lists are the best things. Not only so you don’t forget about certain things but also to clear your mind.

Distraction: Invite your friend over and have a good laugh! This will help you take your mind of the things you’re stressing about. I also like to take some time to watch a TV series, it all relates back to relaxing and doing something for you.

Exercise: Exercise benefits your mind just as well as your body even just a 20-minute walk, run, swim or dance session in the midst of a stressful time can give an immediate effect that can last for several hours.

  1. These are great tips! I keep thinking that a bit of exercise would do me the world of good, but it's just getting yourself to do it! Definitely thinking about taking up yoga...

    1. Yes, the thought of having to exercise is enough for me, but once you've done it you feel so good!
