I’m fairly new to using highlighters, having only previously used Benefit’s Girl Meets Pearl but after hearing so many reviews on Mary-Lou Manizer from The Balm I decided to give it ago and I was absolutely blown away. Highlighter always used to seem like an extra step in my makeup routine, but its now one of the most important and I can’t do my makeup without it. I use it on my cheekbones and as a brow/inner corner highlighter.

There are many different types of highlighters such as cream, liquid, powder, bronzing but my favourite has to be champagne coloured, powder highlighters as they easily suit most skin types and don’t look to bold on the skin. The Mary-Lou Manizer brings so much light to the face without adding to much glitter and the colour is great for me, it’s a little yellow but I’d still class this as a champagne shade.

You can purchase Mary-Lou Manizer from Feelunique for £17.50 so it isn't overly priced compared to other high-end highlighters and the texture is smooth & extremely pigmented so it’s well worth every penny. I will just say though you can definitely overdo it with this highlighter, so make sure you start slowly and build it up.
