Well February has certainly been a month of trying new things for me, some being great and some being complete fails, but though all the product testing I have fallen in love with some great affordable products that I'm sure I will continue to use.

My first favourite of the month has to be the Maybelline 24hr Colour Tattoo Eye shadow in the shade 'Pink Gold' I have pretty much been using this everyday, its just so easy to apply, especially on a busy morning when there is no time. This shadow just applies so smoothly and blends out well. There is actually a full review of this product coming soon, so keep your eyes peeled for that.

Another makeup favourite this month is the Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place High Cover Concealer, I have been using this concealer, for years, I'll go away and try something else but always end up coming back, I think its because its so easy to apply and its covers up blemishes really well. The only downside though is its not great on the under eye area, it starts creasing and going cake  but for simple every day make up its just really easy to grab this and cover up those blemishes and it really lasts all day.

This month I have also found something new for the bath and that's the Frosted Cranberry Bath Fizzers from The Body Shop. I purchased these in there 40% off sale for £8.00 because I thought they could be a cheaper alternative to bath bombs/bars from Lush and they really are, there great! Each jar contains 10 fizzing cubes which actually fiz up nicely, they don't bubble up like a Lush bar but they do make the whole room smell delicious and your skin really soft. I also have a review coming soon on these bath fizzes so if you would like to know more keep an eye out for that.

My hair favourite of the month is the Clairol Nice 'N' Easy Colourseal Conditioner, now you might be thinking why is she using a conditioner for blonde hair when she is Bernette? well I actually have slight blonde highlights though my hair (they actually need re doing very soon) and by using this conditioner it helps to stop the blonde going brassy. These conditioner are great though, they make my hair supper soft and glossy, which lasts for days and I  have noticed a huge difference in the condition of my hair since I have been using these so its defiantly something that I will continue to use.

Finally my last favourites this month are two nails varnishes which I have been non stop wearing throughout February. They are the Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in the shade 'Mauve Along' and Rimmel Glitter Bomb in the shade 'Disco Fever'. I love the colour of 'Mauve Along' its the perfect shade, its not to beige but not to much purple either, I have been wearing this and then putting 'Disco Fever' over top on my ring finger and it looks so cute and girly, which is something that I don't usually do. The nail varnishes themselves are great, they are really hard wearing and very pigments so two coats is enough for the perfect smooth cover.

Now that was what I was loving, now I would love to know what you have loving throughout the month of February?

  1. The maybelline tattoo eyeshadow looks like a lovely colour - I love a light pink for all over the eyes so I'll be picking that up very soon :)
